Johanna Oras X More Joy collaboration has been going on many years. It is always great to see new, fresh paintings, new exhibitions and print art on dishcloths and kitchen towels. This is the way all people can collect a piece of art and joy everyday life.

 “My work and my dreams are the same thing. I want to guide you to a world where only a painting can take. That journey is always an enormous adventure for me; some of the waypoints are inspiration, research, storytelling, sketching and the dialogue with the unfinished work – but the finest moment is always the first stroke of the paintbrush, on an empty canvas. And every painting is a trip to selfhood, inside me – but also, to humanity. Â
My paintbrush is the baton I use to conduct the symphony of my life. And it is via that music – my paintings – I want to share with you those emotions and that powerful energy I feel myself.Â
I want to heal, to comfort, to entertain, to love. To create a concrete form to all these feelings – and countless more. A painting. Â

An internationally awarded artist
Johanna Oras is a multitalented and multidimensional contemporary visual artist from Finland. When the curtain parts at her exhibitions, you get to see Oras’ signature flower: the calla, intricate still life, expressionist displays of colour and revised classic masterpieces.Â
As an internationally awarded artist she has made her name very well-known over the course of her 30-year career and her work has found homes around the globe. She has studied in the Academy of fine art in St. Petersburg and in Florence, and still to this day is continuously evolving off her solid foundation of knowledge and technique.
There are stories behind her art that can be very heartfelt, funny or might even agitate their viewer. Oras will paint her own way rather than set a foot to already paved road. Now it is your chance to take a closer look at these beautiful and unique art pieces, and let them lighten up your kitchen.

For More Joy collaboration has been very interesting: Our resellers world wide has sold many dishcloths and kitchen towels with Calla flowers, Butterflies and other colorful paintings. Sunflower on Field is one of the most sold Dishcloth, you can find HERE. And the new one is Bara Bada Bastu, where three teddybears are singing the Eurovision song in sauna. That is a great form of art to bring Finnish sauna culture visible for everybody. From shop of Oras you can find even more than just T-shirts. Remember that art is not only picture hanging from the wall, it is much more.
